Designed by Architect Murray Britton, the Allendale Grove extension transforms the former carport into a new garage with a master suite and an elevated outdoor retreat above.

The home’s mid-century origins are evident in the extension’s continuation of the existing gable form. Material selections draw directly from the home's original fabric, while subtle changes to the cladding add movement to the façade and update the exterior.

The interior introduces colour and texture inspired by the client's personal style. Pink terrazzo tiles define the ensuite, complemented by soft-neutral joinery and Tasmanian Oak detailing.
